Several members of the Unit are assigned to various Federal taskforces, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to name a few. The taskforces focus on federal violators who reside primarily in or commit crimes in Kansas City, Kansas. The taskforces interact daily with all police departmental personnel as well as their assigned federal agency.
